How it works
Six steps from log to load

Timber intake
Round hardwood arrives at our yard and is graded by species and diameter before it goes to the splitting line.

Cutting & splitting
Our Pezzolato system cross-cuts and splits each log to the length and split size agreed for your order.

Kiln drying
Split wood goes into firewood-specific, fully automated kilns heated by our own 2 MW installation.
- 04
Moisture & size checks
Batches are checked for moisture and dimensions before they are released to the packing area.

Packing to order
Firewood is packed into crates, bags or pallets to suit your market, including your own label where agreed.
- 06
Loading & dispatch
Packed goods are stored under cover and loaded onto full trucks heading to wholesalers across Europe.

Quality control
Checked before it leaves Tervete
Species & timber grade
Only suitable hardwood enters the line; off-spec logs are set aside at intake.
Moisture reading
Dried batches are measured before release so your customers get firewood ready to burn.
Length & split size
Dimensions are compared with the order specification, not a general average.
Packaging condition
Crates, bags and wrapping are inspected so loads survive stacking and long transport.
Load check
A final check of quantity and packing before the truck leaves Tervete.
